Making an impact, one Conference at a time
The World Scout Conference is the governing body, or general assembly, of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM). Held every three years, it brings together Member Organizations from around the world to make important decisions about the next chapter of Scouting.
The 44th World Scout Conference will be hosted by The Scout Association (United Kingdom) at Olympia in London from 29 November to 3 December 2027.
Over five days, Member Organizations will help shape the standards, policies, and shared goals of our global movement. They will also elect the voting members of the World Scout Committee, welcome new Member Organizations, and decide the hosts of future World Scout Events.
But the Conference is more than just formal decisions. It is an opportunity for Scout leaders from across the world to exchange ideas, celebrate success, tackle shared challenges, and build lasting partnerships that strengthen Scouting worldwide.
The 2027 Conference is especially meaningful as Scouting celebrates 120 years since its founding on Brownsea Island. It also marks a return to Olympia, where the first World Scout Jamboree and Conference were held in 1920. Bringing the Conference back to this historic venue gives us the chance to celebrate Scouting’s past while coming together to shape its future.
